Uses:Hexythiazox is a thiazolidinone acaricide with a broad spectrum, showing high acaricidal activity against spider mites and Panonychus mites; it is highly effective against eggs and young instars, while having poor efficacy against adults, but eggs laid by females exposed to the spray fail to hatch. It acts mainly by contact, penetrates plant tissues well, and has no systemic activity; no cross-resistance is observed with organophosphates or dicofol. Action is somewhat slow, but residual efficacy lasts up to over one month. It is safe to crops, predatory mites and beneficial insects.
