Relative density is about 0.955–0.970, flash point around 230°C, high hydroxyl value; good lubricating and emulsifying properties.
Uses:Used as a solubilizer and emulsifier; used in the production of coatings, inks, lubricating oils, greases, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Also serves as a raw material for surfactants and plasticizers, and can be used to prepare biodiesel.
