Physical Properties:Appearance is a yellow powder of rutile mixed metal oxide pigment. It is insoluble in water and organic solvents and offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, heat, light and weather. It is chemically inert, non-bleeding, non-migrating, has strong hiding power and is environmentally safe and non-toxic. Relative density is approx. 4.6 kg/L.
Uses:It is suitable for outdoor plastics and masterbatches (e.g., PVC decorative panels, uPVC window profiles, engineering plastics) and high-performance industrial coatings such as fluorocarbon coatings, powder coatings, coil coatings, automotive coatings, traffic marking paints, aviation coatings and marine coatings. It can also be used in building materials (cement, ceramics, colored glass) and food-contact applications (packaging containers, plastic tableware, toys). As an environmentally friendly replacement for lead chromate and molybdate red pigments, it offers excellent weatherability and safety in use.
