Physical Properties:Grayish-white or beige powder, odorless and tasteless, insoluble in water. Possesses a porous structure with large specific surface area and strong adsorption capacity, capable of adsorbing pigments, colloids and other impurities. Density is approximately 2.2–2.5 g/cm³, melting point around 1300°C, chemically stable, partially soluble in acids.
Uses:Mainly used for decolorization and refining of oils and fats, purification of petroleum products and regeneration of waste oils, as well as a catalyst carrier and desiccant. Also employed as an adsorbent in the daily chemical industry for cosmetics and detergent production.
