Physical Properties:Light yellow to amber transparent solid, available as granules or flakes, with mild odor. Gardner color (50% toluene solution) ≤4, softening point 77~108°C (depending on grade), acid value ≤3 mgKOH/g, flash point 230~250°C, specific gravity (20°C) 1.06±0.03, ash content ≤0.1%. Soluble in toluene, xylene, petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, acetone and other organic solvents; insoluble in water. Compatible with SIS, SBS, NR, CR, SBR, EVA, EAA and other polymers.
Uses:Used in hot-melt adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, laminating adhesives, such as bookbinding adhesive, self-adhesive labels, tape adhesive, hot-melt woodworking adhesive, and also in coatings. It significantly improves the adhesion of pressure-sensitive adhesives and exhibits excellent oxidation resistance and heat resistance.
