It exhibits dispersing, emulsifying, chelating, binding and reducing properties, is resistant to acids, alkalis and oxidation, and has strong chelating ability toward divalent metal ions such as Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn and Ca.
Uses:It is used as a feed/bait additive, pellet binder and antioxidant, promoting the absorption of mineral elements by animals and reducing drug dosage. In aquaculture, it can enrich water, prevent diseases and promote growth, reducing the toxicity of ammonia nitrogen and nitrite and purifying water quality. It is also used as a concrete retarder and industrial dispersant.
