Uses:This product is a nucleoside antiviral drug used as a pharmaceutical API, primarily for the preparation of ganciclovir formulations. It is clinically indicated for cytomegalovirus infections in immunocompromised patients (such as AIDS patients and organ transplant recipients), and is also used for the treatment of cytomegalovirus retinitis.
