Exhibits typical metal carboxylate chemistry and decomposes at elevated temperatures. Liquid form is usually supplied with high-boiling solvents such as mineral spirits as the carrier.
Uses:Mainly used as a paint drier, catalyst for polyurethane reactions, heat stabilizer for PVC, and vulcanization activator in rubber. In oxidative drying coatings, it accelerates film cross-linking and curing, improving coating hardness and adhesion. It is also used as a component of liquid composite stabilizers and as a resin cross-linking catalyst.
