Physical Properties:It appears as a light yellow transparent liquid with a density of about 1.0 g/cm³ and low viscosity. It is readily soluble in polyether polyols, polyester polyols, and common organic solvents such as acetone and ethanol, but insoluble in water. Its flash point is above 150°C and it has good thermal stability.
Uses:It is mainly used in polyurethane systems, such as spandex fiber, PU leather and foam, to prevent yellowing. The recommended dosage is 0.3%-0.5%. Combining with light stabilizers and antioxidants can significantly improve the anti-yellowing performance.
