Uses:This product is a prodrug of ceftaroline, which is hydrolyzed by phosphoesterases in vivo to release the active agent ceftaroline. It is a new-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of community-acquired bacterial pneumonia and acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections, showing good antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and other Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
