Slightly soluble in water; soluble in ethanol, acetone, benzene and other organic solvents.
Uses:Mainly used as an accelerator and curing agent for epoxy resins, accelerating the crosslinking reaction between epoxy resins and amine curing agents, and improving the heat resistance and mechanical properties of cured products. It is also used as a catalyst in polyurethane synthesis, a trimerization promoter for isocyanates, and in the preparation of quaternary ammonium salts and ion-exchange resins.
