Features light color, excellent film-forming property, strong adhesion, waterproof and moisture-proof, acid and abrasion resistance, good insulation, non-toxic and biodegradable. Refined dewaxed type: wax content ≤0.2%, hot ethanol insolubles ≤0.2%, ash ≤0.3%, heavy metals (lead) ≤1ppm. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents.
Uses:Used as a coating agent for fruit preservation and glazing, moisture-proof coating for chocolate and candy in the food industry; film coating for tablets, microcapsule wall material and sustained-release carrier in pharmaceuticals; wood varnish, food-contact ink and paper glazing agent in coatings and inks; insulating varnish and moisture-proof coating for electronic components.
