Cloud point increases with the degree of ethoxylation; HLB value is generally in the range of 12–17.
Uses:It is mainly used as a levelling agent, diffusion agent and stripping agent in textile dyeing and printing, ensuring uniform and stable dyeing processes. It also serves as a nonionic surfactant in formulating emulsifiers, dispersants and cleaning agents, widely applied in daily chemicals, pesticides and fine chemical industries.
