Physical Properties:White to light-yellow milky liquid with an active content of 26-28%. Dispersible in water and readily soluble in polar organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. Density (25°C): approx. 1.02-1.06 g/cm³; pH (1% aqueous solution): 6.0-8.0. As a nonionic surfactant, it exhibits excellent wetting, penetrating and emulsifying properties. Non-flammable and not classified as dangerous goods.
Uses:Used as a foaming agent and foam stabilizer in water-based leather production and for mechanical foaming of waterborne polyurethane resin (PUD). It produces fine and uniform cells with excellent foam stability, giving synthetic leather or polyurethane coatings a soft hand feel after thermal curing. It works over a wide pH and salinity range and provides a thickening effect, significantly shortening processing time and increasing production efficiency.
