Physical Properties:Colorless or light yellow transparent liquid, odorless, with 100% light transmittance. It exhibits excellent heat resistance and cold resistance, small viscosity change with temperature, low surface tension, and good water repellency. Thermal conductivity is 0.134–0.159 W/(M·K). It has good chemical stability, excellent electrical insulation, weather resistance, hydrophobicity, and high shear resistance, and can be used long-term at -50°C to 200°C. Density is approximately 0.96–0.98 g/cm³, flash point >300°C. Non-toxic, non-irritating to skin and mucous membranes, but irritating to eyes.
Uses:Widely used as insulating lubricant, vibration dampener, dust-proof oil, dielectric fluid and heat transfer fluid, as well as defoamer, release agent, polishing agent and lubricant. In cosmetics, it has good skin care functions, increases skin softness and makes hair smooth. It is used as an antifoaming agent in pharmaceutical and food industries, and also for leather and fiber treatment.
