Physical Properties:White to slightly yellow flakes, granules or powder; regular crystal shape, pure color, dry texture, no odor, non-caking, good flowability. Stable melting point and high purity. Possesses multiple functions such as emulsifying, homogenizing, thickening, stabilizing, defoaming, lubricating, dispersing, anti-settling, plasticizing and solubilizing. Balanced hydrophilic-lipophilic property and excellent compatibility with various oils, resins, surfactants and powder materials. Good heat resistance, no exudation or layering, good film-forming property, biodegradable, safe and environmentally friendly. Insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, oils and organic solvents.
Uses:Widely used in food industry as emulsifier, leavening agent and anti-staling agent to improve texture; in daily chemical products as emulsifying thickener and smoothing moisturizer to enhance system stability; in plastic processing as internal and external lubricant, mold release agent and antistatic agent; in coatings and inks as dispersing leveling agent and anti-settling anti-caking agent.
