Miscible with water, ethanol, diethyl ether, acetone, benzene, chloroform and most other organic solvents; strongly hygroscopic.
Uses:Mainly used as a polar aprotic solvent; widely used as a spinning solvent for polyurethane, polyacrylonitrile and other synthetic fibers, and as a reaction medium in organic synthesis. Also used as a solvent, extractant or reaction carrier in the pesticide, pharmaceutical, dye and electronic chemical industries.
