Physical Properties:Ramucirumab is a recombinant humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody with a molecular weight of approximately 144 kDa. It is supplied as a sterile, preservative-free, clear to slightly yellow solution, slightly soluble in water and soluble in physiological buffers, with a pH of approximately 6.0–6.5.
Uses:Ramucirumab is an antagonist of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2), indicated for the treatment of advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma; in combination with chemotherapy, it is also used for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and metastatic colorectal cancer.
Technical Specifications:
Concentration of 10 mg/mL; available in single-use vials of 100 mg/10 mL and 500 mg/50 mL.
Storage conditions: store at 2–8°C protected from light; do not freeze.
This product is preservative-free; use immediately after opening and discard any residual solution.
