Physical Properties:Light yellow to yellow crystalline powder, odorless. Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, chloroform and ethyl acetate. Melting point approximately 183–186 °C, with good thermal stability and good stability under acidic and alkaline conditions. Exhibits strong blue fluorescence with absorption at about 370–380 nm and emission at about 430–445 nm.
Uses:Widely used as a fluorescent whitening agent for plastics (PE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS, etc.), synthetic fibers, coatings, inks and color masterbatches. It effectively absorbs ultraviolet light and emits blue fluorescence, improving the whiteness and brightness of products. Typical dosage: 0.01%–0.05%.
