Physical Properties:Pale yellow to light brown oily liquid with a density of about 1.26 g/cm³, boiling point approximately 198°C (0.5 mmHg). Slightly soluble in water (about 9.85 g/L), readily soluble in acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate and other organic solvents. Stable under acidic and neutral conditions, decomposes in strong alkali.
Uses:A nematicide with systemic and contact action, acting on the nematode nervous system by inhibiting cholinesterase. It is used to control root-knot nematode, cyst nematode and lesion nematode, and also provides control of aphids, mites and thrips. Suitable for vegetables, fruit trees, melon crops and herbal plants, with low toxicity and low residue.
Technical Specifications:
Mode of action: inhibits cholinesterase, causing overstimulation and death of nematodes; has systemic and contact activity.
