Physical Properties:Delrin 100P is a highly crystalline polyoxymethylene (POM) homopolymer with excellent mold release properties. Molded parts have smooth surfaces and good dimensional stability, high mechanical strength, good rigidity, excellent fatigue and creep resistance, as well as good wear resistance and self-lubrication. It has a density of approximately 1.42 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 175°C, maintaining stable mechanical properties over a wide temperature range and showing good resistance to most organic solvents and chemical media. Wear resistance can be further improved by modification with PTFE or molybdenum disulfide.
Uses:Delrin 100P is widely used in the automotive industry, electrical and electronic appliances, precision machinery, and consumer goods. It is suitable for manufacturing precision parts such as gears, bearings, slide rails, connectors, pump bodies, and valves. With excellent mold release properties, the material is especially suited for injection molding of complex-shaped and thin-walled parts, helping to improve production efficiency and reduce defect rates.
