Physical Properties:Electric portable testing device powered by AC220V with automatic constant pressure of 0.25MPa. The tester injects air into the weld seam of the waterproof membrane through a No.5 syringe needle and automatically stops inflation at the preset pressure; weld tightness is assessed by pressure retention.

Uses:Developed in accordance with the Technical Code for Waterproofing and Drainage of Railway Tunnels, this instrument is used for air tightness testing of welded seams in tunnel waterproofing membranes. Air is inflated into the weld seam to 0.25MPa and held for 15 minutes; a pressure drop within 10% indicates a qualified weld. If pressure drops too quickly, soapy water can be applied to locate leakage points and re-weld them.
