Physical Properties:Brown-yellow transparent liquid, weakly acidic, soluble in water and miscible with water in any ratio. It has good thermal stability and chlorine resistance, and can chelate and disperse calcium and magnesium ions. It maintains scale inhibition performance under high alkalinity, high hardness and high pH conditions.
Uses:It is mainly used for scale inhibition and dispersion in industrial circulating cooling water, boiler water and oilfield injection systems. It effectively inhibits the formation of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and calcium phosphate scales, and disperses iron oxide and suspended solids. It can be used alone or compounded with organic phosphonates and corrosion inhibitors to reduce scaling and corrosion.
