Physical Properties:DURAFIDE PPS 1140A6 is a linear polyphenylene sulfide resin offering higher ductility and impact strength compared to cross-linked PPS, with superior toughness. The material maintains excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and flame retardancy, along with outstanding thermal shock resistance, electrical insulation, high dimensional accuracy and low fuel swelling. It features high whiteness, dyeability, low ionic impurities, high weld line strength, and is suitable for secondary processing such as threading and press-fitting.
Uses:Primarily used in automotive engine peripheral components, electrical parts for hybrid and electric vehicles (such as PCU, water pumps, lamp sockets), functional parts for office equipment and audio-visual devices, as well as kitchen and bathroom fittings including mixing faucets and water heaters. With its excellent strength and heat resistance, it is also employed as a metal replacement resin in demanding electronic applications and fuel cell components.
