Physical Properties:Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer combining rubber elasticity and plastic thermoplasticity; elastic at room temperature, melt-processable and repeatedly moldable at high temperature. Polyether type, density approx. 1.21 g/cm³, hardness approx. 54 Shore D, tensile strength approx. 45 MPa, elongation at break approx. 350%. Hydrolysis-resistant, low-temperature-resistant, microbial-resistant, abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant and oil-resistant; low VOC, free from phthalate plasticizers; typical melt processing temperature approx. 190–230°C; soluble in polar solvents such as DMF and THF; insoluble in water and most aliphatic hydrocarbons/mineral oils.
Uses:Used in automotive, electrical/electronics, industrial manufacturing, consumer/sports goods, medical/food and footwear sectors. Typical applications include automotive sensor/parking brake cable sheaths, charging pile cables, brake hoses, interior/exterior trim, connector overmolding, industrial cable jackets, conveyor/transmission belts, hydraulic hoses, seals, medical catheters, food-grade hoses, sports shoe midsoles and smart wearable straps.
