Physical Properties:Elastollan 1180A is a polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer that can be plasticized by heating, with a largely linear molecular structure and certain physical crosslinking. It features excellent wear resistance, oil resistance, hydrolysis resistance and microbial resistance, high mechanical strength, good elasticity, excellent low-temperature flexibility, and outstanding weather and corrosion resistance. It has a Shore hardness of approximately 80A, a density of about 1.12 g/cm³, high tensile strength, large elongation at break, and excellent tear resistance and crack propagation resistance.
Uses:Suitable for extrusion and injection molding to manufacture pneumatic tubes, spiral tubes, oil delivery hoses and wire/cable sheaths. In footwear, it is used for soles, uppers, sports shoes and functional shoes due to outstanding abrasion resistance and low-temperature performance. It is also used to produce seals, gaskets, dust covers, bellows, fan belts, casters, rollers, conveyor belts, automotive parts, watch straps, zipper pulls and other industrial products. Halogen-free flame-retardant grades can replace flexible PVC to meet environmental requirements.
