Due to the polarity of acetoxy groups, increasing VA content enhances the copolymer's polarity, reducing crystallinity, hardness, softening point, rigidity, tensile strength, chemical resistance, and heat deformation resistance, while improving environmental stress cracking resistance, permeability, friction coefficient, blend compatibility with other polymers, and printability.
Uses:Used to produce EVA encapsulation film for photovoltaic modules, encapsulating solar cells between photovoltaic glass and backsheet.
