Physical Properties:White or slightly yellow granules/chips, density 1.13-1.15 g/cm³, melting point 215-225°C, thermal decomposition temperature about 300°C. Excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication and chemical corrosion resistance; soluble in strong polar solvents such as formic acid and phenol, insoluble in ethanol, acetone and other common solvents; relatively high water absorption.
Uses:Designed specifically for spinning processing, it can be melt-spun into nylon fibers, industrial yarns, carpet yarns and staple fibers. The resulting fibers have high strength and good wear resistance, widely used in apparel fabrics, tire cord, conveyor belts, fishing nets and ropes.
