Physical Properties:Linear PPS with 40% glass fiber reinforcement. It exhibits high-temperature stability, excellent chemical/solvent resistance, high stiffness and strength, and outstanding dimensional stability; self-extinguishing. It is insoluble in any known solvent below 200°C and shows excellent stability in conventional and alternative automotive fuels. It also provides good toughness, high elongation and impact strength, low ionic impurities, and is suitable for electrical/electronic applications.
Uses:Used in automotive engine underhood components, powertrain components, pump parts, fuel lines, valves, and electrical/electronic parts, as well as home appliance housings, coil bobbins, connectors and other precision parts. With excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and dimensional stability, it is also suitable for hybrid/electric vehicle electrical components, fuel cells and diesel vehicle components.
