Physical Properties:GH4738 is a precipitation-strengthened nickel-based superalloy with a density of about 8.22 g/cm³ and a melting range of approximately 1330-1360°C. It has good oxidation resistance, with a continuous service temperature up to 870°C and oxidation resistance up to 1040°C. It exhibits high stress-rupture and creep strength below 870°C. The alloy is difficult to weld and should be welded in the solution-treated state, followed by re-solution treatment after welding.
Uses:GH4738 is mainly used for turbine disks, working blades, high-temperature fasteners, flame tubes, shafts and turbine casings in aero engines, as well as gas turbine blades, turbine disks and large bolts. It is widely applied in rotating components in aerospace, aviation, petroleum, chemical and power generation equipment.
