Physical Properties:Colorless transparent thermoplastic resin with a density of about 1.04-1.06 g/cm³, refractive index of approximately 1.59, low water absorption, resistance to acids and alkalis, but soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and toluene; flammable and has excellent electrical insulation properties.
Uses:General purpose polystyrene is suitable for injection molding and extrusion molding. It is commonly used to manufacture daily necessities, toys, stationery, packaging containers, housings for household appliances, disposable tableware, and can also be processed into sheets, films, and foams.
