Physical Properties:Colorless transparent bead or granular thermoplastic resin, odorless and tasteless, specific gravity 1.04-1.06 g/cm³, light transmittance 88%-92%, low water absorption, excellent electrical insulation, good acid and alkali resistance, but poor solvent resistance, easily soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Uses:Used to manufacture stationery, toys, daily necessities, packaging containers, electrical appliance housings, optical components, etc. It is also used to produce expanded polystyrene insulation materials.
