- 聚苯醚（PPO）是一种耐热系数较高的热塑性工程塑料型材，比重1.06-1.1 g/cm³，工作温度范围为-40℃至+90℃，在此范围内能保持良好机械稳定性。材料比重轻、分子量高（数均分子量约2万-5万），具有较高的机械强度与刚性、良好的耐热与耐水解性能，抗拉伸强度高，耐冲击强度好，尺寸稳定性高，抗蠕变性能好，电气绝缘系数高，介电常数和介电损耗小，阻燃等级UL94 V-2，吸水率低。缺点为熔融流动性差，加工成型较困难，耐无机酸、碱、芳香烃、卤代烃、油类等性能差，易溶胀或应力开裂。

Physical Properties:Polyphenylene oxide (PPO) is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with high heat resistance. It has a specific gravity of 1.06-1.1 g/cm³ and a working temperature range of -40°C to +90°C, maintaining good mechanical stability within this range. The material features light weight, high molecular weight (number-average molecular weight approx. 20,000-50,000), high mechanical strength and rigidity, good heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance, high tensile strength, good impact strength, high dimensional stability, good creep resistance, high electrical insulation coefficient, low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss, flame retardant rating UL94 V-2, and low water absorption. Its disadvantages include poor melt flowability, difficult processing and molding, and poor resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, and oils, with a tendency to swell or stress-crack.
Uses:Suitable for manufacturing heat-resistant/steam-resistant parts, wear-resistant parts, insulating fasteners and connectors, transmission structural parts, high/mid/low-frequency electronic components, gears, fan blades, pump and valve structural parts, and electrical parts for motors/transformers. Widely used in industrial machinery, electronic and electrical appliances, automotive industry, and household appliance components.
