Physical Properties:Thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET/TPEE), low-modulus soft grade with Shore D hardness of approx. 40. Excellent low-temperature toughness, flex-fatigue resistance and high resilience; long-term service temperature range approx. -50 °C to 100 °C. Resistant to many chemicals, oils and solvents, with good abrasion resistance and electric insulation. Density approx. 1.14 g/cm³, melting point approx. 170 °C, brittleness temperature as low as -70 °C.
Uses:Suitable for injection-molded and extruded products requiring low-temperature flexibility and high resilience, such as automotive bellows, hydraulic hoses, seals, dust boots, sensor sheaths, wire and cable jacketing, and sporting-goods components. This grade combines rubber-like elasticity with thermoplastic processability and is commonly used as a replacement for conventional vulcanized rubber.
