Physical Properties:Milky white granules with a certain translucency in thin sections; high crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. Density 0.941-0.960 g/cm³, melting point approximately 130-142°C, decomposition temperature approximately 300°C. Non-hygroscopic, good water vapor barrier; resistant to most household and industrial chemicals, but attacked by corrosive oxidizers such as concentrated nitric acid, aromatic hydrocarbons such as xylene, and halogenated hydrocarbons such as carbon tetrachloride. Excellent electrical insulation with high dielectric strength; good impact resistance, retains toughness at low temperature down to -40°C; good resistance to environmental stress cracking, heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength.
Uses:Mainly used for extrusion molding of films, fishing nets, water pipes, ropes, woven nets, etc. It is also suitable for injection molding of daily necessities, turnover boxes, containers and shells. Applied in extrusion blow molding of containers, bottles and hollow products, such as food packaging bags, shopping bags and fertilizer lining films. In addition, it is widely used in wire and cable, pipes, sheets and thermoformed products.
