- 半透明无色固体，无臭无毒，密度0.89~0.91 g/cm³，是最轻的通用塑料之一。熔点164~170℃，等规度100%时熔点为176℃，维卡软化温度150℃，热变形温度100℃。吸水率仅0.01%，对水特别稳定。耐热、耐腐蚀，制品可用蒸汽消毒。耐低温冲击性差，较易老化。收缩率1.0~2.5%，成型性好，表面光泽好，易于着色。化学稳定性好，除浓硫酸、浓硝酸外，对多数化学试剂稳定，但低分子量脂肪烃、芳香烃和氯化烃能使其软化和溶胀。电绝缘性好，抗弯曲疲劳性优异。

Physical Properties:Translucent colorless solid, odorless and non-toxic, with a density of 0.89~0.91 g/cm³, one of the lightest general-purpose plastics. Melting point 164~170°C, 176°C for 100% isotactic polypropylene, Vicat softening temperature 150°C, heat distortion temperature 100°C. Water absorption only 0.01%, very stable in water. Resistant to heat and corrosion, products can be sterilized by steam. Poor low-temperature impact resistance and prone to aging. Shrinkage rate 1.0%~2.5%, good moldability, good surface gloss, easy to color. Excellent chemical stability, resistant to most chemical reagents except concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid, but low-molecular-weight aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons can soften and swell it. Good electrical insulation and excellent flexural fatigue resistance.
Uses:Polypropylene is suitable for making general mechanical parts, corrosion-resistant parts and insulating parts, as well as food utensils. Due to its excellent chemical stability, it is ideal for chemical piping, fittings and anti-corrosion equipment. It is also used to produce polypropylene nonwoven fabric and plastic products.
