- 白色或淡黄色粉末，表面光滑有光泽，硬而致密，薄壁部分半透明，着色性好。密度1.41-1.43 g/cm³，成型收缩率1.2%-3.0%，成型温度170-200°C，干燥条件为80-90°C下干燥2小时。短期耐热可达160°C（均聚物比共聚物高10°C以上），长期耐热共聚物比均聚物高约10°C，可在-40°C至100°C范围内长期使用。分解温度约280°C，分解时产生刺激性和腐蚀性气体。易燃，离火后继续燃烧，火焰上端黄色、下端蓝色，熔融滴落，有强烈的刺激性甲醛味。

Physical Properties:White or light-yellow powder with smooth, glossy surface; hard and dense, thin sections are translucent, good colorability. Density: 1.41-1.43 g/cm³; molding shrinkage: 1.2%-3.0%; molding temperature: 170-200°C; drying conditions: 80-90°C for 2 hours. Short-term heat resistance up to 160°C (homopolymer about 10°C higher than copolymer), while long-term heat resistance of copolymer is about 10°C higher than homopolymer; long-term service temperature range: -40°C to 100°C. Decomposition temperature about 280°C, giving off irritating and corrosive gases during decomposition. Flammable, continues burning after removal of ignition source, flame is yellow at the top and blue at the bottom, with melt dripping and a strong pungent formaldehyde odor.
Uses:Polyformaldehyde is a widely used thermoplastic engineering plastic, suitable for manufacturing mechanical structural parts such as gears, bearings, cams, rollers, bolts, pump bodies, impellers and bearing housings. In the automotive industry, it is used for half shafts, planetary gear washers, radiator water valves, water pump impellers, carburetor housings and accelerator pedal parts, replacing metals and improving service life. In electronic and electrical applications, it is used for power tool housings, switch handles, and parts of audio equipment, video recorders, televisions, computers and fax machines. It is also applied to precision instruments, clocks, building materials, game machines, toys, stationery and daily-use products.
