It exhibits excellent heat resistance, wear resistance, and chemical resistance (resistant to most solvents, but not concentrated sulfuric acid and formic acid), along with outstanding electrical insulation, high mechanical strength, and rigidity. It has relatively high water absorption and general dimensional stability, requiring conditioning treatment.
