Physical Properties:Nylon plate is a translucent or opaque thermoplastic engineering plastic sheet in milky white to light yellow. Its density is about 1.14–1.16 g/cm³ and melting point is about 220°C (PA6 type) or 260°C (PA66 type). It exhibits excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication, impact resistance, fatigue resistance and electrical insulation, along with high mechanical strength. It is stable to most solvents, oils and weak acids/alkalis, but has relatively high water absorption (saturated water absorption about 1.2%–1.8%) and moderate dimensional stability. Long-term service temperature is about -40 to 105°C.
Uses:Nylon plate is suitable for pipe-grade, sheet-grade and profile processing, and can be formed by extrusion, casting or machining. It is widely used to manufacture wear-resistant sliding parts such as bearings, gears, guide rails and sealing gaskets, as well as electrical insulating components and chemical pipeline linings. With good mechanical strength and chemical resistance, it is applied in machinery, chemical, textile, automotive and electrical industries.
