Physical Properties:Nylon is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic resin with a density of about 1.14 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 220–260°C. It offers high mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication, and good electrical insulation. It is resistant to alkalis and most organic solvents, but has limited resistance to strong acids and oxidants. Its water absorption is relatively high, and dimensional stability is affected by humidity.
Uses:Widely used in mechanical transmission parts such as gears, bearings, seals and bushings, as well as electrical insulation components and automotive parts. Due to its chemical resistance and stable mechanical properties, it is also suitable for pipes, containers and chemical equipment parts that contact media such as oils and solvents.
