Physical Properties:Polyamide 6 resin in granular form, suitable for molding complex structures. It offers good processability, excellent flowability and high thermal stability, and does not stick to solder during wave soldering at up to 270°C. Density is about 1.14 g/cm³ and melting point is about 220°C. The processing melting temperature is 260–290°C (275–280°C for glass-reinforced grades) and should not exceed 300°C. Drying is required before use: if the storage container has been opened, dry in hot air at 85°C; if moisture content exceeds 0.2%, vacuum-dry at 105°C for 12 hours.
Uses:This product has excellent overall performance and is mainly used in transportation and electronic/electrical industries. It can be used to manufacture automotive brake hoses, air-conditioning hoses, air compressor hoses, high-pressure hydraulic hoses, cable sheaths, optical cable sheaths, quick connectors, ABS solenoid shafts, precision gears and sliding mechanisms. It is also used for telescopes, food containers, filters, mechanical engineering parts, automotive interior parts, aerospace components, eyeglass frames, hearing aids, medical instruments and high-temperature-resistant parts.
