Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic with a density of 1.01 g/cm³, low moisture absorption and good dimensional stability. Melting temperature is about 178°C, Vicat softening temperature (10 N) is about 170°C, heat deflection temperature (1.8 MPa) is about 50°C. It has excellent electrical insulation, UL94 HB flammability rating, insoluble in water, and soluble in some strongly polar solvents.
Uses:It is a food-grade PA12 suitable for food contact packaging materials, medical devices, automotive oil/air tubes, cable sheaths and precision mechanical parts. It offers good chemical resistance and dimensional stability, and is ideal for applications requiring low moisture absorption and high precision.
