Physical Properties:PA12 is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer with a melting point of approximately 178-180°C, a density of about 1.01-1.05 g/cm³, low moisture absorption, good flowability, and a mold shrinkage of 0.5% to 2%. It has no resistance to strong oxidizing acids.
Uses:Suitable for water meters, commercial equipment, cable sheathing, mechanical cams, sliding mechanisms, and bearings. PA12 elastomers offer excellent noise and vibration damping, low sliding friction coefficient against steel, POM, PBT and other materials under dry running conditions, along with good wear resistance and high dimensional stability, making them particularly suitable for silent gears in DVD, CD, MD, VCR, camcorders, digital cameras, printers, and video recorders. It is also widely used in wire and cable, pipe fittings, and medical care products.
