It has a relatively low melting point (about 220°C) and a wide processing temperature range, making it easy to mold. This material exhibits good oil resistance and a UL HB flammability rating. It is highly hygroscopic and requires thorough drying before processing: if moisture content exceeds 0.2%, drying in hot air above 80°C for 16 hours is recommended; if exposed to air for more than 8 hours, vacuum drying at 105°C for over 8 hours is advised.
