Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyamide with a density of approximately 1.06-1.08 g/cm³ and a melting point of about 210-218°C, exhibiting relatively high heat deflection temperature. Its water absorption is significantly lower than that of PA6 and PA66, providing excellent dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance. It is soluble in strong polar solvents such as concentrated sulfuric acid and cresol, while being stable against hydrocarbons, oils, and most common solvents.
Uses:Suitable for automotive clutch system components, gears, engine structural parts and brackets, as well as applications in industrial consumer goods that require resistance to heat deformation and creep at elevated temperatures. This material is also commonly used to manufacture cable sheathing, pipes, bearings, and wear-resistant parts.
