Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline/crystalline material with a relatively high melting point (about 260°C). It retains high strength and stiffness even at elevated temperatures. It has low viscosity and good flowability, but its viscosity is sensitive to temperature changes. The shrinkage rate is between 1% and 2%, and can be reduced to 0.2%~1% with glass fiber reinforcement; shrinkage differs significantly between flow and transverse directions. It is resistant to many solvents but has weak resistance to acids and certain chlorinating agents. It exhibits excellent wear resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance, with reduced water absorption, good dimensional stability, and superior mechanical strength.
Uses:General-purpose PA66 is suitable for injection molding and extrusion, and can be used to process very thin-walled components. Special modifications can meet electrostatic dissipation and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection requirements.
