Physical Properties:This product is a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) composite with 15% ash content (inorganic filler reinforced). It has a density of 1.43-1.52 g/cm³ and a melting point of 220-230°C (225°C by DSC), with a crystallization rate faster than PET. It features low water absorption, a low friction coefficient, and self-lubrication; stable mechanical properties with tensile strength and modulus comparable to nylon; excellent electrical properties, good dimensional stability, and good chemical and oil resistance.
Uses:It is used in electronic and electrical components, such as no-fuse breakers, electromagnetic switches, flyback transformers, appliance handles, connectors, and housings. It is also used in automotive parts (door handles, bumpers, distributor caps, fenders, wire covers, wheel covers) and industrial parts (fans, keyboards, fishing reels, lamp shades, etc.).
