Physical Properties:Milky-white translucent to opaque crystalline thermoplastic polyester. It offers high heat resistance, toughness, fatigue resistance, self-lubrication and a low friction coefficient, along with good electrical insulation but relatively high dielectric loss. With an extremely low water absorption of 0.1%, it retains physical (including electrical) properties in humid environments. It resists hot water, alkalis, acids and oils, but is susceptible to halogenated hydrocarbons and has poor hydrolysis resistance. It crystallizes rapidly from the melt and exhibits good moldability. Density is approximately 1.30~1.55 g/cm³, melting point is about 225°C, and repeating unit molecular weight is 220.2 g/mol.
Uses:Mainly used in automotive, electrical/electronic, industrial machinery, and polymer alloy/blend industries. Suitable for producing automotive distributors, body parts, ignition coil bobbins, insulation covers, exhaust system components and motorcycle ignitions, as well as TV deflection yokes, CRT bases, potentiometer brackets, audio output transformer bobbins, adapter frames, switch connectors, motor end covers and shaft sleeves as structural and insulating parts.
