Physical Properties:Colorless to slightly yellow transparent solid, amorphous thermoplastic polymer. Density 1.19-1.22 g/cm³, glass transition temperature ~147°C, melting temperature 220-230°C. Light transmittance 88-90%, refractive index 1.585. Soluble in dichloromethane, chloroform and other halogenated hydrocarbons; insoluble in water, alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Excellent impact resistance, heat resistance and electrical insulation, with long-term service temperature up to 120°C.
Uses:Mainly used in electronics, electrical appliances, automotive, industrial parts and optical lighting fields. Also used in high-precision parts, mechanical equipment, medical devices, construction, textiles and daily consumer goods. With excellent transparency and impact resistance, it is widely used in transparent guards, automotive lamp covers, optical disc substrates and other products.
