Physical Properties:A polyether block amide thermoplastic elastomer with PA12 hard segments and polyether soft segments. Density approx. 1.01 g/cm³, melting point approx. 170°C. Low specific gravity, low water absorption, and stable physical properties after moisture absorption. High low-temperature impact strength, good weatherability, good flow, wide processing temperature range, and dimensional stability. Mold shrinkage 0.5%-2.0%, depending on material grade, wall thickness and processing conditions. Melt viscosity is affected by humidity, temperature and storage time. Resistant to oils, greases, gasoline, fuels, various liquids and metal salt solutions, with good self-lubrication, wear resistance and fatigue resistance, but poor resistance to strong oxidizing acids.
Uses:Widely used in automotive fuel delivery pipes, brake hoses, air-conditioning pipes, air compressor hoses, high-pressure hydraulic hoses, quick connectors, anti-lock braking system solenoid spools, precision gears and sliding mechanisms. Also used for cable sheathing, optical fiber cable jackets, photovoltaic backsheets, water meters and commercial equipment, mechanical cams, bearings, telescopes, food containers, filters, mechanical engineering components, automotive interior parts, aerospace parts, eyeglass frames, hearing aids, medical instruments and high-temperature-resistant parts.
